What the Week View Shows β
The Week View is a 7-day grid that spans Monday through Sunday. Each row represents one agent; each column represents one day of the week.
At a glance you can see:
- Which agents have shifts scheduled on each day, including exact start and end times
- Agents who are off on holiday for a given day (amber cell with flag emoji)
- Agents on approved leave (indigo cell with π Leave label)
- Overtime shifts β agents scheduled on a day off or outside normal hours carry an OT badge
- Past days are dimmed (reduced opacity) so your eye naturally lands on today and the days ahead
- Today's column header is highlighted in indigo to make it easy to orient yourself
Navigating Between Weeks β
Week Arrows β
Use the β (Previous Week) and β (Next Week) buttons in the filter bar to step back or forward one full week at a time. The current week range is displayed between the arrows β for example, Feb 24 β Mar 2, 2025.
Today Button β
If you have navigated away from the current week, a Today button appears next to the arrows. Click it to jump back to the week containing today's date.

TIP
The date label updates as you navigate, always showing the MondayβSunday range of the displayed week.
Reading the Grid β
Day Header Row β
The top row shows the seven days of the week. Each day displays:
- Abbreviated day name (Mon, Tue, Wed β¦)
- Date number in large bold text
- Month abbreviation (Jan, Feb β¦)
Click any day header to jump directly to the Day View for that date β useful when you want the hour-by-hour detail.
Agent Identity Column β
The left column lists every active agent with their avatar or color-coded initials and their name. A small flag label (π΅π PH or π§π© BD) shows each agent's holiday group so you can instantly see which public holidays apply to them.
If you are a linked agent in this workspace, your own row carries a small β star badge for quick identification.
Shift Cells β
Each cell in the grid represents one agent on one day. The cell content depends on the agent's status for that day:
| Cell appearance | What it means |
|---|---|
| Colored chip with time range (e.g. 9AM β 5PM) | Agent has a regular scheduled shift |
| OT badge on a colored chip | Agent is working overtime β shift was scheduled on a day off or as an OT slot |
| Flag emoji + amber tint + OFF label | Agent's holiday group has a public holiday β agent is off |
| π + indigo tint + LEAVE label | Agent has approved leave |
| β (dash on dark background) | No shift, no leave, no holiday β agent is unscheduled for that day |
The color of a shift chip matches the agent's profile color, making individuals easy to track across the row.

Absence and Holiday Indicators β
Holiday Off (Amber Cells) β
When a public holiday falls within the agent's holiday group, that day cell turns amber and displays:
- The country flag emoji for the holiday group
- An OFF label in amber
- The holiday name in small text below
If the agent is scheduled to work on a holiday (a manager override), the chip is still colored but carries both the flag emoji and an OT label β a visual reminder that working that day is overtime.
Approved Leave (Indigo Cells) β
When an agent has approved leave, their day cell turns indigo and displays:
- A π clipboard emoji
- A LEAVE label
- The leave type (e.g. Annual Leave, Sick Leave) in small text
Priority
If an agent is both on leave and has a holiday on the same day, the leave status takes visual priority in the cell.
Filtering by Agent β
The filter bar on the right includes an All Members dropdown. Select a specific agent from the list to show only their row β useful when checking an individual's week without visual noise from the rest of the team.
πΈ Screenshot: Agent filter dropdown with a single agent selected
Clearing the filter (selecting All Members again) restores the full grid.
Week View Legend β
At the bottom of the grid a legend explains the visual language at a glance:
| Legend item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Colored square | Agent has a shift that day |
| Amber square (Holiday Off) | Agent is off for a public holiday |
| Indigo square (On Leave) | Agent has approved leave |
| OT label | Agent is working overtime |
| β star badge | Your own agent row |
When to Use Each Schedule View β
| Goal | Best view |
|---|---|
| See the whole team's week at once | Week View (this page) |
| Check hour-by-hour coverage for a single day | Day View |
| Plan a month ahead or review multi-week patterns | Monthly Calendar |
| Monitor live coverage right now | Day View β use the NOW line |
The Week View is best for weekly planning and team-wide absence awareness β spotting days where multiple agents are off at the same time, or verifying that shift coverage is balanced across the week.
Switching Between Views β
All three schedule views β Month, Week, and Day β are accessible from the view toggle in the filter bar. The currently active view is highlighted in indigo; the others are gray. Click any tab to switch instantly.

Clicking a day column header in the Week View takes you directly to the Day View for that date, so you can drill down from a weekly overview to an hourly timeline in one click.
